After earning the 2024 Pac-12 Conference Gymnast of the Year honor and earning 12 All-America honors with UCLA, Selena Harris-Miranda looked for a change to continue her collegiate career. Harris-Miranda's dream followed by a phone call from Florida head coach Jenny Rowland helped guide her to the Gators for her junior season.
That and more shared by Harris-Miranda with Sean Kelley can be heard in Episode 41 of Gator Tales, presented by UF Health.
Gator gymnastics fans can see the team in action prior to the start of the 2025 season at the Dec. 16 Hype Night. Admission is free and the event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
Kelley also visits with men's basketball standout Alex Condon in the latest Gator Tales. The sophomore forward discusses his growth from freshman to sophomore year, the team's historic 9-0 start and how his international experience has shaped his game.
The episode wraps with a nod to Mary Wise and the volleyball team as they compete in the NCAA Tournament for the 34th-consecutive year, plus updates on final exams and the holiday season in Gainesville.
