GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida Men's and Women's swimming team completed the final day of the Florida Invitational on Saturday evening inside the O'Connell Center Natatorium. Six swimmers improved from the morning session and
Aryan Nehra,
Ben Cote and
Bobby Dinunzio III all posted a NCAA B-cut time in the 1650 yard freestyle event, each recording a time under 15:25.12.
Ten Gators swam in six different events to improve their times in the last chance before SEC Championships.
Invite Notes
Florida finished the invite totaling two NCAA A-cut times and 30 NCAA B-cut times within the three days of competition.
Bella Sims and
Isabel Ivey set new program records during the invitational. Sims set the new 100 yard backstroke record with 50.44 and Ivey's1:43.03 broke the 200 yard freestyle record.

The Gators head to Auburn, Alabama for SEC Championships from Feb. 20-24. The men's team is looking for its 12th-straight SEC title, while the women go for back-to-back SEC Champions.
