GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In the last opportunity to drop time before NCAA Championships, Eight Gator swimmers recorded eight B-cut times on the concluding day of Auburn's Last Chance Meet inside the James E. Martin Aquatic Center.
Florida recorded half of their B-cut times in the 1650 yard free. On the men's side, Bobby Dinunzio shaved over nine whole seconds off his seed time, while both
Eric Brown and
Josh Parent dropped over three seconds.
Madison Kolessar contributed from the women's team, finishing with a B-cut time after swimming nearly three seconds faster than her seed time.
During morning prelims,
Amro Al-Wir shaved eight seconds off his seeded time in the 200 breast for a B-cut time of 1:54.91 and
Peter Bretzmann tallied his own B-cut time in the event (1:55.07).
Florida will turn its attention to the NCAA Championships beginning at the end of March.
