Gators Selected as National No. 4 Seed in 2024 NCAA Tournament

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators softball team will host an NCAA Regional for the 18th time at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium. The team found out their placement as the national No. 4-seed during tonight's selection show on ESPN2.
Joining Florida in the Gainesville Regional will be FGCU (37-19), Florida Atlantic (41-14) and South Alabama (32-18-1).
Florida has hosted an NCAA Regional for 17 out of the 18 national tournaments that have taken place while under the direction of head coach Tim Walton. The double-elimination regional starts Friday, May 17 through Sunday, May 19.
As the No. 4-seed in this year's tournament, should the Gators prevail the team would then face the winner out of the Lafayette Regional hosted by No. 13-seed Louisiana.
All fans will be able to order tickets beginning Monday, May 13 at 6 p.m. ET.
