Five Gators Set to Compete in 2024 Athletes Unlimited Season

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2024 Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball Championship Season is set to begin Friday evening with five former Florida softball standouts set to compete for the coveted title.
Kelsey Stewart-Hunter, Aleshia Ocasio, Amanda Lorenz and Jordan Roberts all return to Athletes Unlimited competition, while Skylar Wallace will make her rookie debut in the league this year.
Last season, Stewart-Hunter turned in a top 10 finish after she placed 9th with 1,538 points, while Amanda Lorenz placed 14th (1,418 points), Jordan Roberts placed 15th (1,406 points) and Aleshia Ocasio rounded out the group with a 16th place finish and 1,392 points. Ocasio is the only former Gator to win the title as she did so in 2021.
The Athletes Unlimited draft was held earlier this week with Odicci Alexander, Alyssa Denham, Gwen Svekis and Sydney Romero will serve as captains. Roberts, Lorenz and Wallace were all drafted to Team Denham, while Ocasio and Stewart-Hunter were drafted to Team Romero.
All games are scheduled to be held at the Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Ill.
