Ben Cote Honored in Fall Commencement Ceremony

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Former Florida swimmer Ben Cote became one of UF's newest alumni on Friday, earning his degree in Health and Human Behavior during the University of Florida's fall commencement ceremonies at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.

A Pinellas Park, Florida native, Cote graduated cum laude and collected SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition in each of his four years with the program. In the pool, he was a two-time Canadian Olympic Trials qualifier and was part of Florida's roster during the 2022, 2023 and 2024 SEC Championship seasons.

Cote was among nearly 4,000 graduates celebrating on campus this weekend and one of 38 current and former Gator student-athletes to earn a degree.
