Auburn, Ala.— The Florida Gators will initiate SEC play on Sunday afternoon at Yarbrough Tennis Center. UF's road matchup at No. 4 Auburn is set to begin at 1 p.m. and will mark the Gators third road contest of 2025.
Both the Gators and the Tigers will enter Sunday's competition off recent wins. UF defeated Georgia Southern 6-1 on Feb. 9 and Auburn will be coming off a 4-0 home victory against Kansas State on Feb. 15.

GATORS LAST TIME OUT
Florida took its third win of non-conference play, defeating Georgia Southern 6-1 in their last time out. The Gators won all courts put out in Statesboro, taking two doubles matches and the top five singles courts. Georgia Southern's only point of the match was a walkover win in singles on court six.

ABOUT THE TIGERS
The Tigers will host Florida after an extremely successful non-conference campaign. Auburn boasts an 11-1 record and tallied three top-10 victories, defeating then ranked No. 3 Oklahoma State, No. 4 Stanford and No. 8 UNC. Auburn's only loss of the spring was against No. 1 Georgia, falling 4-1 at ITA Nationals.

Individually, Auburn has four ranked singles players in No. 2 DJ Bennett, No. 17 Merna Refaat, No. 57 Angella Okuotyi, and No. 116 Ava Esposito. The Tigers are also represented in the doubles category with Bennett and Ava Hrastar standing at No. 20, and Okutoyi and Refaat at No. 69.
