JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The fourth-ranked Florida lacrosse team (10-2, 2-0 Big 12) will take on the Jacksonville Dolphins (7-4, 3-0 ASUN) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Rock Stadium.
The Gators are coming off their seventh consecutive win, defeating San Diego State 21-9 on Saturday. UF led by as many as 16 goals in the win, as a season high 12 different players recorded a goal.
It is the 17th career meeting between the Gators and Dolphins, with UF leading the all-time series 15-1. Florida has won the last six matchups, including a 21-4 victory in their last meeting on Feb. 28, 2024 in Gainesville.
In the 16 matchups, the average goal differential has been 8.88 goals per game, with UF's margin of victory being 9.40 goals per game in their 15 wins. Florida owns a 6-1 record all-time at Jacksonville, last defeating the Dolphins on the road by a 16-11 margin on April 26, 2023.
