Siuue Wu led the Gators with a T6 and 1-under finish at the second spring tournament.
PALOS VERDES, Calif. - The No. 6 Florida women's golf team concluded the second spring tournament at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge, finishing fourth in a field that featured nine top-25 teams on Tuesday at Palos Verdes Golf Club.
The Gators had a final round of 290 (+6) for a team score of 864 (+12) as Siuue Wu led the team with a T6 and 1-under finish. She shot her second under par round with a 69 (-1). She led the tournament in par5 scoring (4.33) and tied for low in par3 scoring (2.92). The sophomore has started the spring season with a pair of 3rd place finishes.
Paula Francisco placed T15 to tie for the team-high fifth top-25 finish this season as freshman Katelyn Huber ended T19 and a stroke behind Francisco. Rounding out the lineup featured Archer (T48) and Megan Propeck (T63). Individually, Addison Klonowski had a final round of even-par 71 and finished T27.
Florida returns back to the 'Sunshine State' at the Moon Golf Invitational (Feb. 15-17) and hosting the Gators Invitational (March 6-8).
