2017: Played in the first five games of the season as a key member of Florida’s special teams… Suffered a season-ending injury against LSU… Totaled three tackles… Blocked a punt in UF’s season opener against Michigan… Became the first Gator to record a blocked punt since Loucheiz Purifoy did so against Miami in 2013… 2016: Appeared in three games as a reserve defensive back but did not record any stats… 2015: Appeared in four games but did not record any stats... Named to SEC Academic Honor Roll... 2014: Played in two games (Eastern Michigan, Eastern Kentucky)... Earned the team’s Most Valuable Special Teams Scout Member Award... 2013: Did not see any game action and redshirted.
 
PRIOR TO FLORIDA:
Recorded six interceptions, five defensive touchdowns and over 90 tackles, with 50-plus tackles in 2012, while playing at Saint Xavier High School… He chose UF over Kentucky, Louisville and Northwestern… Son of Dwayne Stephens, who played football at Kentucky… Has one sister, Summer, who swam for the University of Florida… Coached by Mike Glaser.
