Swamp Wing Cook-Off
OFFICIAL RULES
For the first time, 15 Gators will have the opportunity to showcase their cooking talents. Prior to the Orange & Blue Debut presented by Sunniland, Gator fans will compete in a wing cooking competition.
Fans can enter the contest by emailing promotions@gators.ufl.edu. The contest is limited to 15 contestants due to space restrictions. All contestants must pay a $50 entry fee that will be due upon arrival on Friday, April 8th (credit cards & checks will be accepted).
Contestants will be judged on Best Overall Wings, Best Traditional Wings & Best Dry rub. Prizes will include:

Contestant Info
To be eligible fans must enter by submitting all Name, Address, Phone number, email address, cooking equipment info (grill vs. smoker, etc.) to promotions@gators.ufl.edu. Registration is limited to 15 contestants due to space limitations. Registration will close once full or will close by noon on Thursday, April 7.
Contestants must register and load in the North End Zone of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium between 8:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8. All contestants must pay a $50 entry fee that will be due upon arrival on Friday, April 8 (credit cards & checks will be accepted).
Contestants must supply all cooking equipment and utensils, including a thermometer. The University Athletic Association will provide each contestant 50 uncooked wings, a 10' x 10' tent and one 6' table. All wings must be cooked/stored/hot held at 140 degrees F or above.

- 8:00-11:00 a.m. - Registration/Load-In (*Must pay $50 upon arrival; All contestants will be required to review health & safety information with the Florida Health Department upon arrival.)
- 12:00 p.m. - Cook Team Meeting/Meat Inspection
- 5:00-5:20 p.m. - Turn In
- 5:30 p.m. - Judging
- 6:00 p.m. - Winners Announced
- Load Out: After Orange & Blue Debut
