Florida Volleyball Gator Serving Camp
- What is the difference between Gator Serving Camp and Serving Camp (July)?
- Aside from one camp being in June and one camp being in July, Gator Serving Camp is a condensed version of our popular July Serving Camp. If you are new to serving, want to work on your technique or advance to a different level in your skill, either camp will help. Gator Serving Camp will consist of 2 hours on-court serving whereas July’s Serving Camp is a 3-hour on-court session.
- What forms must each player upload for camp participation?
- Physical performed within one year of the end of camp (or signed Physician’s Statement) by June 1, 2026.
- Serving Camp: Physicals performed on or after June 11, 2025
- Physical performed within one year of the end of camp (or signed Physician’s Statement) by June 1, 2026.
- How do I upload a physical to my online account?
- When registering for camp, you will automatically create an online account with the email address you enter. Once you have completed the camp registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link on the top right of email. Click the link that says “Manage your online account.” Enter your email address and password to log on to online account. To upload physical or physician’s statement, click “Upload Form” blue button.
- We only accept a physical that has been completed within one year of the last day of your camp’s camp session. Physicals should be uploaded to your online account by June 1. If you are unable to upload your physical, please send it by emailing a scanned version to volleyballcamp@gators.ufl.edu or by faxing it to 352-375-7807.
- Serving Camp: Physicals performed on or after June 11, 2025
- Can players submit a doctors signature instead of a current physical?
- Yes. We will only accept a doctor’s signature of release on our Physician’s Statement form linked in your confirmation email after completing online camp registration
- Do I need medical insurance to attend camp?
- Campers must have medical insurance. The camp carries an EXCESS medical insurance policy to cover medical expenses for injuries/accidents which occur in the course of camp activities. Medical expenses, including any deductibles, which are declined for payment through the camper’s personal insurance and/or through the excess policy become the personal responsibility of the camper’s parents/guardians.
- Where is check-in/registration?
- Check-in/registration takes place in the main lobby of the Exactech Arena (O’Dome) - 250 Gale Lemerand Drive Gainesville, FL 32611. The lobby is located directly across Gale Lemerand Drive from the Ben Hill Griffin Football Stadium.
- Where is check-out for campers?
- Check-out will take place in the main lobby of the O’Dome.
- My camper is attending Youth Skills Camp ending Thursday afternoon. Will there be supervision provided between that ending and the check-in for Gator Serving Camp Thursday evening?
- No, we do not provide supervision between the camps. Campers must be properly checked out of Youth Skills Camp (4pm) and then checked-in by appropriate adult for Gator Serving Camp during registration (5:30-6:00pm). No meal will be supplied to campers and we highly encourage you to take your camper for a meal in the break between the two camps
- May parents watch?
- Parents are welcome and encouraged to watch their children.We request you sit and watch in the designated sections for viewing in the facilities.If a facility does not have a designated section to watch, feel free to sit in any area that won’t be disruptive to camp activity.
- How do I find my camper's court when I come to watch them at camp?
- Campers will be organized by their court coach’s name. A list of all campers, their court coach and training location by session will be posted in the main lobby of the O’Dome before the start of camp.
- Can a camper be picked up by someone besides a camper’s parent?
- Yes. A parent may provide the name of a designated adult via the ONLINE registration process. Parent or designated adult will be allowed to sign camper out at the end of the day with proper photo ID.
- If you need to make additions or changes to your approved pick-up list, those must be made in writing to VolleyballCamp@gators.ufl.edu.
- What should a camper bring to camp with them?
- T-shirts, shorts, volleyball shoes, socks, knee pads, casual shoes, spending money for camp store, backpack or bag.
- Will campers be able to purchase Florida Volleyball Camp attire?
- The Florida Volleyball Camp online store is part of your check-out process when registering for camp. The merchandise available in the online store will NOT be available for purchase at camp.
- Florida Volleyball Camp merchandise will also be available for purchase at a live camp store. This live camp store will ONLY be open at camp registration and will have limited number of items. Items sold in the online camp store will NOT be for sale at the live camp store.
- What do I do if I am attending All Skills Camp (ending Thursday at 4pm)?
- Youth Skills Camp and Gator Serving Camp are completely different camps. We do NOT supply supervision for the time between camps.
- Completely check out of Youth Skills camp.
- Registration for Gator Serving Camp is from 5:30-6:00pm in the O’Dome Main Lobby
- No Meal will be supplied to campers between Youth Skills Camp and Gator Serving Camp, PLAN APPROPRIATELY.
- Serving camp instruction begins at 6:00pm
- Youth Skills Camp and Gator Serving Camp are completely different camps. We do NOT supply supervision for the time between camps.
- Refund Policy (as required by NCAA and the University Athletic Association)
- NO REFUNDS PERMITTED FOR SERVING CAMPS
Cancellations for Serving Camps due to injury with medical documentation provided by a physician prior to the start of the camp session, stating that the camper is unable to participate will be refunded minus a $20 non-refundable fee.
NOTE: Approval from the University Athletic Association Compliance office is required before refund is issued.

Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by The University of Florida Athletic Association are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, and/or number restrictions as specified by each camp.
- All campers are required to provide a Waiver of liability/Hold Harmless Agreement.
- All campers are required to provide a physician's statement. A copy of a physical completed within one year prior to camp is acceptable in lieu of physician's signature.
- All campers are required to have medical insurance.
UAA policy allows participation in overnight/resident camps only for campers that are 13 years old by the start of camp. Please refer to each sport's camp page for additional information.
As camps are open to the public, there could be on-site photography or video by parents, guardians or visitors.
Refunds may be granted in extreme circumstances with approval from the camp director and compliance office. If the UAA cancels a camp for any reason, the camp is only responsible for a refund of fees paid to the camp as part of registration.
Only parents or legal guardians may provide personally identifiable information through the University of Florida websites.
