Baseball Experience Middle School Camp (7th/8th)

The University of Florida baseball program is pleased to once again offer our GATORS EXPERIENCE instructional baseball camp. This camp gives a player the opportunity to receive the full experience of being a Florida Gator. The camp will focus on the fundamental skills and mechanics in regards to hitting, pitching, and defensive skills that help prepare the Gators for the toughest conference in college baseball. Each camper will receive a post camp data package. All data will be collected when pitching or hitting during games.
Our Middle School Gator Experience instructional baseball camp will consist of position specific instruction from University of Florida Staff and/or players, as well as instruction from other college and high school coaches.
Limited participants will have access to the same facilities that Florida Baseball players have. Hitters will be able to take advantage of the state-of-the-art Batting Cages. Pitchers will be able to utilize the same pitching lab as the Florida Gators pitching staff.
Campers will receive instructional development in the morning and participate in live games during the afternoon or evening. Campers will receive some of the same apparel that the Florida Baseball team wears. Each Camper will receive a Gators Jersey with number of choice, a pair of shorts, and 2 camp shirts. Camp will also include tours of other UF Athletic facilities, a basic strength training instruction, arm care routines, and nutritional education. Lunch will be provided daily to campers.
Each camper will also receive a post camp data package. All data will be collected throughout the camp via Trackman, YakkerTech and/ or Rapsodo. Data capture will take place during a Batting Practice, game at bats and pitching during the games. No data will be captured during drills. Post camp evaluation will include a comparison of specific metrics relative to a Division I player, as well as comparatives to others campers attending that session. All evaluations will be emailed to campers within 2 weeks after camp has concluded. All activities and schedules are weather permitting and may have to be shuffled or rescheduled due to inclement weather.

July 10-12, 2025
Ages
This camp is for players entering 7th and 8th grades in the Fall of 2025 (approximately 12-14 years old on the date camp starts). No one who is 15 years old or older is permitted to participate.
Games
Please note that this camp will be played on a FULL-SIZED FIELD – 60'6"’ pitching and 90’ bases. Each inning will have both a hitter and/or a pitch limit.
Cost
The cost of the camp is $925.
A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is required during registration to hold your position as a camp participant. Account balance must be PAID IN FULL by July 1st, 2025. If your account is not paid in full by July 1st, 2025, we reserve the right to move another participant from the waiting list to the active participant list.
Accommodations
Campers are not permitted to stay overnight on campus for this camp. There are many hotels that can be found located close to campus and the baseball field. A list of preferred hotels can be found on the Florida Gators website.

Equipment
At check-in, every camper will receive: 2 Florida Gators Baseball T-Shirts, A Pair of Florida Baseball Shorts and a Florida Baseball Jersey, and Gators drawstring bag. Campers can pick their own jersey number provided that they are registered for camp before June 9th, 2025. After June 9th, 2025, jersey numbers will be randomly assigned and cannot be changed or traded with other campers. If you are added to camp from the waitlist after June 9th, 2025, your jersey number will be randomly assigned.
Campers will need to bring the following equipment for camp: baseball apparel, baseball glove(s), batting gloves, bat(s), batting helmet, baseball cleats, turf/tennis shoes, baseball pants, snacks, and catcher’s gear (if applicable).
Meals and Snacks
Lunch will be provided daily for campers.
Snacks will not be provided during the camp so players are encouraged to bring non-perishable snacks.
Gatorade and water will be provided daily.
Parking
Parking restrictions will not be lifted for the main parking lot during camp days. Florida Baseball Camps are not responsible for any tickets or citations received while campers are attending camp.
The specific lot will be communicated by email prior to camps and signage around the baseball field on the first day of camp. Please park only in the designated lot for registration as no other lots will be lifted at that time.
Check In / Check Out
Check-in will take place between 8:15 and 8:45 AM on Thursday, July 10th, 2025. During this time, players will be checked into camp and receive their equipment and team assignment.
*Campers must have upload physical on ACTIVE Website prior to check-in. If paperwork has not been submitted by this time, the camper will not be able to participate until all paperwork has been completed. *
Camp will start at 9:00 AM on Thursday July 10th, 2025 and will conclude on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 at approximately 5:00 PM.

An online camp store with limited Florida Gators Baseball apparel will be on sale through the online registration on ACTIVE.com
Registration
Online registrations will start being accepted March 1st, 2025.
When registering, please be sure to fill out ALL FIELDS on the registration form. Please make any teammate requests for camp during registration. Some requests may not be able to be fulfilled due to team size and positioning restrictions.
PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE POSITION(S) THAT YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR. PLEASE REGISTER THE CAMPER FOR THE POSITION(S) THAT HE WANTS TO PLAY DURING THE GAMES.
THE POSITION YOU REGISTER FOR IS THE POSITION YOU WILL PLAY DURING THE GAMES. POSITIONS ARE FILLED UP ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS.
Campers are allowed to work at positions other than their registration position during drill work, but will not be guaranteed any playing time at a position other than the one(s) they are registered for. Not all position combinations are available. Positions have been created to ensure a complete team can be fielded during scheduled games.
Please note that registration is limited to first 55 participants. Once camp registration has reached capacity participants, a waiting list will be created. Your position on the waiting list is determined by the order in which you register.
A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is required during registration to hold your position as a camp participant. Account balance must be PAID IN FULL by July 1st, 2025. If your account is not paid in full by July 1st, 2025, we reserve the right to move another participant from the waiting list to the active participant list.
If your account is not paid in full and you are moved from the active participant list to the waiting list, you are not eligible to receive a refund on your non-refundable deposit. You may also forfeit any payments that have already been made towards camp if contact cannot be made with the camp director prior to the start of camp on July 10th, 2025.
Any participant that is on the waiting list will not have to pay their deposit until they are moved to the active participant list.

An up-to-date physical must be turned in prior to the start of camp.
Physicals must be taken within 1 year of the first day of camp.
The camper cannot participate until this is received.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
- $250.00 non-refundable deposit.
- If refund is requested on or before date:
06/30/2025 –Cash refund minus deposit ($675 refunded) or 100% Camp Credit ($925Credited)
07/1//2025 – 50% Camp Credit ($462.50 Credited), No Cash Refund
07/10/2025 – No Cash refund or Camp Credit will be given - After the initial date and time of check-in for this camp – July 10, 2025 @ 8:00 AM – no refunds or camp credit will be issued.
- If a refund is requested after the conclusion of the first day of camp due to a camper not attending camp (either any one day, combination of days, or the camp in its entirety), no refund or camp credit will be issued.
- No camp credit or refunds will be issued due to a camper withdrawing from camp once camp has begun.
- If a refund or camp credit is requested due to an emergency or extenuating circumstance that prevent the camper from participating in this camp, contact needs to be made with the camp director as soon as possible. The camp director, along with compliance approval, will determine if the circumstances warrant the issuance of a refund. Under some circumstances, the total amount paid, including the non-refundable deposit may be refunded with approved medical documentation and approval from compliance.
- All refund and camp credit requests are subject to approval by Florida Baseball Camps and the Athletic Association compliance office.
- All refunds are subject to a 4.0% fee of the overall amount that has been paid towards camp that is non-refundable, including in some cases of full refunds.
- Florida Baseball Camps may cancel a camp at any time at their discretion. If Florida Baseball decides to cancel the camp, a full refund (full refund includes the original non-refundable deposit; full refunds do not include the 4.0% of the overall paid amount to cover fees) will be issued without request.
- If this baseball camp is cancelled or suspended for any reason that is outside the control of Florida Baseball Camps, a full refund full refund includes the original non-refundable deposit; full refunds does not include the 4.0% of the overall paid amount to cover fees) will be issued without request.
- Camp Credit will expire after the conclusion of the next calendar year. (Ex. Summer of 2025 credit will expire Jan 1st, 2027)
- It is the responsibility of the account holder to be aware of when their camp credit expires. Florida Baseball Camps will not send reminders or notices out about the possible expiration or expiration dates of camp credit.
- Camp credit can only be used for the participant that was originally issued the camp credit; camp credit is assigned to the participant and not to the account.
- Camp credit cannot be transferred or refunded – it can only be used for future Florida Baseball camps, for the original registered participant, so long as the camp credit has not expired.
Camp Rain and Lightning Policy
- As baseball is an outdoor sport, we may experience inclement weather from time to time during our baseball camps. Our first priority is the safety of the campers. Due to rain and or lightning, we may have to pull campers off of the field from time to time to ensure their safety.
- If Florida Baseball Camps feels that it is necessary to cancel a camp in its entirety due to the forecast of inclement weather, a full refund (including original non-refundable deposit) will be issued without request. Please see the refund and camp credit policies for more information.
- All camps that commence at the start of the day will follow through until their scheduled conclusion time. Florida Baseball Camps will not release campers early unless requested by the camper’s parent or guardian.
- If the parent or guardian of a camper would like to sign their camper out early due to inclement weather, they are welcome to do so. Please do not leave with the camper until the parent or guardian has signed them out.
- Florida Baseball Camps will always have a contingency plan for our camps due to inclement weather.
- Due to rain and/or inclement weather, the proposed schedules for the day may be altered so that the majority of activities can still be completed. Florida Baseball Camps will do our best to get all scheduled activities in each and throughout the entirety of camp.
- If lightning is detected within an 8-mile radius of the area being utilized, all campers and staff will be immediately moved to a designated safe structure or location.
- If no lightning has been detected within an 8-mile radius of the area being utilized for at least 30 minutes and the storm is clearly moving away from the area, then a resumption of camp activities may begin.
Medical Insurance
The Camp carries an EXCESS medical insurance policy to cover medical expenses for injuries/accidents, which occur in the course of the camps activities. Medical expenses which are declined payment through the participant's personal insurance and/or through the excess policy become the responsibility of the participant's parents/guardians. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE TO PARTICIPATE.
Every Florida Baseball Camp has at least one certified Athletic Trainer in attendance throughout the duration of camp.
