2015: Despite a devastating knee injury in the bowl game to end the 2014 season, he returned and did not miss a start while leading the team in tackles (103) for the second year in a row...First UF player to post back-to-back 100-tackle seasons since 1992-93 (Ed Robinson)…Named a Butkus Award Semifinalist and was a unanimous First Team All-SEC selection…Voted a captain by his teammates for the 2015 season...Named the Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week and SEC Defensive Player of the Week after recording 16 tackles against Ole Miss…Also named SEC Defensive Player of the Week against Georgia…2014: Earned Second Team All-SEC honors by the leagues’ coaches, the Associated Press and Phil Steele…Selected as a team captain for the season by his teammates…Led the Gators with 101 tackles on the season…First UF player to have 100 tackles since Ahmad Black in 2010, and the first linebacker to post 100 tackles since Brandon Spikes had 131 in 2007…Recorded 14 stops on third down that prevented the opponent from gaining a first down, tied for the most on the team…Earned the Chris Patrick Courage Award, Iron Gator Strength & Conditioning Award, Greg See Tenacity Award and James W.
