2014: Played in seven games on the season, seeing action on special teams and as a reserve linebacker… Battled injury throughout the season, causing him to miss several games… Totaled six tackles… Earned the team’s Chris Patrick Courage Award… 2013: Played in the first seven games and was a key contributor on special teams before a season-ending injury in the Missouri game… Recorded four special teams tackles… 2012: Did not see action in any games for the Gators as he redshirted in 2012… Named the Scout Team Player of the Week five times, three on special teams for the weeks against Kentucky, South Carolina and Jacksonville State and two on defense for the LSU and Florida State weeks.

PRIOR TO FLORIDA:

A consensus four-star recruit… Ranked the No. 17 outside linebacker and the No. 35 player in the state of Florida by Rivals.com… Rated No. 220 on the Rivals250 national list… Also played running back and wide receiver in high school… Selected to the AP Class 7A All-State First Team… Recorded 15 sacks as a senior… Caught a game-winning touchdown pass with 21 seconds left in the game to beat St. Petersburg High School in 2011… Helped Pinellas Park to the regional quarterfinals and a 7-4 record as a senior… Became the first member of his family to attend college… Chose Florida over Alabama, South Carolina, USF, Purdue and Iowa State… Coached by Ken Crawford.
