CAREER:

A redshirt junior defensive end who has played in 25 games as a Gator, recording nine tackles, 3.5 for loss, 2.0 sacks, a pass breakup and a QB hurry… Took a medical hardship waiver after the 2012 season and ended his career with the Gators.

2012:

Did not play after suffering a season-ending injury in training camp.

2011:

Appeared in all 12 regular-season games, recording five tackles, including 2.5 for loss, a sack and a QB hurry… Had a career-high three tackles including a 2-yard sack at Kentucky… Recorded a solo and an assisted tackle, both for a loss (5 total yards), in the season opener against FAU… Missed the Gator Bowl due to injury.

2010:

Saw action in all 13 games, with two solo tackles and two assisted tackles, one TFL and one pass breakup… Saw time on Florida’s punt block, kickoff and kick return units… Recorded two tackles, one for loss and a pass breakup vs. Appalachian State… Collected two of the Gators’ four quarterback hurries against Tennessee.

2009:

Dressed for seven games his first season at Florida, but did not see game action and redshirted.

PRIOR TO FLORIDA:

Recorded 41 tackles, 27 quarterback hurries, 24.5 sacks, four pass breakups and an interception for a touchdown during his senior season… Finished his junior season with 40 tackles and 19 sacks, giving him 43.5 sacks his junior and senior seasons combined… Awarded the Bradenton Herald Co-Player of the Year… A first-team all-state selection as a junior… Coached by Raymond Woody.
