2014: Named the 2014 National Football Foundation Legacy Award Winner, given to individuals or organizations who have made extraordinary contributions to the NFF or embody its mission… Earned the President’s Academic Award… Entered Florida football lore when he executed a fake field goal and rushed for a 21-yard touchdown to spark the Gators to an upset win over rival Georgia… Named the SEC Special Teams’ Player of the Week after his play against Georgia… On senior day, he caught two passes for 36 yards, including a 28-yard touchdown… Also totaled three tackles as a key member of several special teams’ units… 2013: Played in all 12 games, seeing time on special teams and as a reserve receiver… Earned the President’s Academic Award, annually given by the team to the top student-athlete… 2012: Played in the final four games of the season after suffering an injury in the summer of 2012… Saw time on special teams and at wide receiver… 2011: Dressed for every game except one (Alabama) and appeared in seven games (UAB, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Furman, Florida State, Ohio State)… Contributed to the kickoff unit throughout the season.

PRIOR TO FLORIDA:

Named to the Pinellas County All-Star team for football in 2009… Had 34 receptions for 453 yards his senior year and set school records in receptions and yards in a single season (2009) and established records in career receptions and career receiving yards… Placed second in the district for the high jump in 2009… Also played basketball throughout high school and was named the team MVP in 2008-09 and 2009-10 and also named to the Pinellas County All-Star team for basketball in 2010… Considered attending William Jewell, Dartmouth and Harvard.
