Katie Turner enters her fourth season with the Gators after being hired as the assistant athletic director of recruiting prior to the 2022 season.
During her first season with the Gators, Turner contributed to the revamping of Florida's recruiting operation which resulted in the signing of a top-15 recruiting class in 2023 and established a foundation for future classes.Â
Turner arrived in Gainesville after spending two seasons at Georgia, where she worked as the Bulldogs’ director of recruiting operations.

As part of Georgia’s recruiting staff, Turner contributed in the acquisition of talent that helped the Bulldogs secure a top-five and top-three nationally ranked recruiting class for 2021 and 2022, respectively.

Prior to Georgia, Turner served on Napier’s staff at Louisiana as the director of football on-campus recruiting from 2018 to 2020.

The Ragin’ Cajuns garnered the No. 1 recruiting class in the Sun Belt Conference in consecutive years for 2019 and 2020.

Turner’s experience expands beyond the collegiate ranks, having worked with the Buffalo Bills as a graduate assistant in the community relations department (2016-17) and business development department (2017-18).

A 2016 graduate from the University of Alabama, Turner began her career on UA's recruitment team as a student. She assisted in the Tide's recruiting efforts from 2013 to 2016 when Alabama secured the No.1 recruiting class in the nation each of those years.
