CAREER: Senior offensive lineman who saw action in 30 games during his career as a Gator.

2011: Made his first career start against FSU when he lined up at tight end… Appeared in 12 games on the season, missing the Gators’ matchup against Kentucky… A key contributor on the Gators’ special teams and field goal unit.

2010: Named to the 2010 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll… Saw time in 12 of Florida’s 13 games, playing in all but the Miami University game… Played on special teams on Florida’s field-goal unit.

2009: Named to the 2009 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll for his 3.0 GPA in Political Science… Played in five games his sophomore season in 2009, including Charleston Southern, Troy, South Carolina, FIU and against Cincinnati in the 2010 Allstate Sugar Bowl victory.

2008: Saw his first career action as a Gator in the win over The Citadel… Named a Scout Team Player of the Week for his role in preparing the Gators for Hawaii.

PRIOR TO FLORIDA: Named first-team All-County as a senior...Chose Florida over Davidson and FAU.

OFF THE FIELD STORIES

·         Has been a Gator fan all his life and began considering an attempt to make the ‘08 team as a non-scholarship walk-on. He made the team and ended up suiting up for the ’08 National Championship and played in the ’10 Sugar Bowl

·         Started out as a biology major, but changed to a political science degree in hopes of entering UF’s law school in two years

·         Earned a scholarship prior to the 2011 season
