- Posted his first 20-point game as a Gator with a personal-best 22 at LSU, then followed that up with a 27-point performance, including nine dunks, against Kentucky.
- After a 1-for-6 start from the free throw line vs. LSU, hit all four of his free throw attempts in the final minutes to help seal Florida’s win. Adding in a nice jump hook, Egbunu scored six of UF’s last seven points in the game.
- Against Richmond, Egbunu (17 points, 14 rebounds) and Devin Robinson (12 points, 13 rebounds) were the first Gator teammates to put up double-doubles in the same game since Vernon Macklin and Alex Tyus did so vs. Jacksonville in 2010.
- Recorded his first double-double as a Gator (third total) with 17 points and 11 rebounds vs. Florida Gulf Coast.
