2017-18, Freshman Season

Personal
- Walk-on who Scored 12 points and grabbed two rebounds in 13 appearances for the Gators.
- Joined the program as a manager for the 2016-17 season, promoted to a walk-on in November 2017.
- Double-majoring in criminology and psychology with a minor in Spanish.
- Since third grade, it was his dream to play for the Florida Gators.
- Appeared in six games and scored six points, including a 3-pointer in the win vs. North Florida.
- The 3-pointer vs. UNF helped Florida tie an NCAA record with nine different players hitting a 3-pointer in the same game, just the fourth time it had happened in college basketball history.

2017-18, Freshman Season
- Appeared in seven games, scoring six total points.
- Made his Florida debut in the season opener vs. Gardner-Webb and picked up an assist.
- Scored four points, including his first career basket, against North Florida.
- Appeared in the NCAA Tournament win vs. St. Bonaventure.
Prep
- Two-time team captain and All-Baltimore Catholic League Honorable Mention as a junior (2014-15) and senior (2015-16) while a three-year starter at Loyola Blakefield.
- Also played baseball for four years and football for one year and would have pursued collegiate baseball as a pitcher if not for basketball.

- Parents are Andrew and Maria Fava and has one sister, Alex.
- Comes from an athletic family: father, Andrew, played baseball at NC State (1982-86); cousin, Deemer Class, played lacrosse at Duke University (2012-16); cousin, Isabella Pivec, plays volleyball at Denison University (2015-present); grandfather, Frank Fava, played basketball at Loyola University (1954-55).
- Has many nicknames, including Monk, Drew, Frankie, Reds, Fav and Rudy.
- Favorite NBA player is Klay Thompson and favorite athlete is Ed Reed.
- Wears #22 because his grandfather wore that number.
