2009-10: Named to the PING Division I All-Region Team… Earned SEC Academic Honor Roll honors for the second-straight year… Finished with a 73.0 stroke average, after playing all but one tournament for Florida… Tied for the team-lead with three top-20 finishes… Made his NCAA Championships debut and tied for 34^th with an even-par 216 (73-70-73)… Helped UF qualify for its 10^th-straight NCAA Championships appearance after tying for 32^nd with a 214 (74-69-71, +4) at the NCAA Central Regional… Had his best event of his career at the Golden Ocala Invitational where he earned his first individual win and set a career low with a first round score of 65 (-7)...Finished the Golden Ocala with a 36-hole score of 132 (-12)… Tied for 12^th place as the Gators tied for second at the SEC Championship where he carded a one-over 211 (69-72-70)… Shot a 13-over 229 to finish in a tie for 71^st at the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational… Finished in a tie for 67^th with a 27-over 243 (73-85-85) at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters in Las Vegas… Rounded out UF’s lineup in a tie for 79^th at the John Hayt Invitational with a 240 (82-82-76, +24)… Tied teammates Tyson Alexander and Tim McKenney for third at the SunTrust Gator Invitational with a final score of 212 (+2)… Matched his previous career mark for lowest tournament score with a three-under 210 (72-70-68) at the PING Arizona Invitational where he tied for 16^th place… Tied for 20^th place after carding an eight-over 224 (75-74-75) at the Isleworth Invitational… Carded a five-under 211 (70-69-72) to tie for 10^th place at the Gary Koch Invitational… Made his season debut at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational and tied for third place with a three-over 213 (74-71-68).

2008-09: Appeared in four tournaments on the season, playing in the team lineup three times … Averaged 74.92 strokes through 12 rounds … Earned SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition … Played in the prestigious U.S. Collegiate Championship and tied for 77th … Finished 14th at the Gator Invitational shooting even-par 210 as an individual … Led the team with a five-over par score of 218 at the PING/Golfweek Preview Invitational and tied for 21st place … Opened the season at the Carpet Capital Collegiate with a 49th place finish, carding a 224 (+8).

2007-08: Redshirted and did not see any action.

2006-07: Finished in a tie for 49th at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship with a score of 230 (+14) … Tied for 40th at the SunTrust Gator Invitational after recording a total of 71-75-75 = 221 (+11) … Tied his 18-hole career best in the first round with a score of 71 … Helped the Gators win the PING/Golfweek Preview Invitational with a six-over 216 (72-73-71), good for a share of 34th place … His final-round 71 marked a career best … One of three freshmen to make his collegiate debut at the season-opening Inverness Invitational … Carded a 234 (77-80-77) to finish in a tie for 43rd.

Amateur Competition: Finished tied for 33rd at the 2008 Players Amateur at two-under par… Was the medalist in the qualifier tournament and competed in the 107^th U.S. Amateur at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, Calif., shooting 15-over 155 (75-80) in the stroke play portion … Tied for third at the 2007 Copa de las Americas … Appeared in the 2007 Western Amateur at Point O’Woods Golf and Country Club at Benton Harbor, Mich., shooting nine-over 289 (71-73-73-72) and finishing in a tie for 40^th place … Named a 2006 AJGA All-American … Earned 2006 Rolex Junior All-America honors … Won the 2006 South American Junior Championship as an individual and with his Columbian team … Tied for 28th with a score of 286 (-2), helping Colombia tie for 22nd at the 2006 World Amateur Team Championships … Advanced to the first round of match play at the 106th U.S. Amateur Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn., after firing a four-over 147 in stroke play … Won the 2005 Doral Publix by shooting four-under for the tournament … Earned runner-up honors at the 2005 Orange Bowl tournament … Placed third at the 2005 Junior World Cup … Finished second at the match-play Colombian Open in 2004.

Prep: Led his team to a runner-up finish with a 28-under performance at the World Golf Cup Championship in Japan … Earned the Best Senior Award at the Pendleton School … Also played soccer and tennis in high school.
