2010-11: Named to the All-SEC first team… Named to the Division I PING All-America Second Team… Named to the Division I PING All-Region Team… Shot one round under par at the NCAA Championships… Tied for 12th after shooting a 212 to give the Gators a first-place finish at the NCAA Regional… Finished in a tie for third in Florida’s victory at the SEC Championship for his ninth-consecutive top-10 finish… Shot all three rounds at or under par to continue his streak and finished in a team-high tie for third at Hootie @ Bulls Bay Intercollegiate… Shot all three rounds under par to record a fourth place finish at the Schenkel Invitational… Finished in a tie for sixth at the Bandon Dunes Championship… Earned his first-career first-place finish at the John Hayt Invitational… Improved his season-best finish again with his tie for second at the Gator Invitational after falling in a playoff to teammate Andres Echavarria… Improved his season-best finish with his tie for fifth at the JU Invitational after making par or under par on all three rounds… Recorded a season-high finish with his tie for eighth at the Isleworth Invitational, one of the most difficult courses in the country… Tied his best round of 68 at the Jerry Pate Invitational and recorded a ninth-place finish… Participated in Florida’s first-place finish in the Olympia Fields Invitational with an average of 73.0.
2009-10: Named to the SEC All-Freshman Team… Became a consistent member of UF’s lineup in his first year at Florida, making the lineup in the final five tournaments… Finished the season with a 73.2 stroke average in 29 rounds of play… Had 75.9 percent of rounds counted with a 4.0 stroke differential… Led UF freshmen in rounds played (29), rounds at or under par (11), tournaments at or under par (3), top-20 finishes (3) and birdies (76)… Made his NCAA Championships debut and tied for 34th with an even-par 216 (69-74-73)… Led the Gators at the NCAA Central Regional after carding a career-best tournament score of 209 (-1) and matching his career-low round score with a 68 in his second 18 holes… Finished the Regional in a tie for 11th… Also tied for 11th at the Golden Ocala Invitational, where he carded a 36-hole score of 143 (-1)… Made his post-season debut at the SEC Championships and tied for 32nd with an eight-over 218 (71-75-72)… Helped the Gators to a second place finish at the BancorpSouth Intercollegiate when he tied for 28th with a 220 (73-76-71, +4)… Shot a 240 (+24) at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters to tie for 61st… Carded an 11-over 227 (72-77-78) to tie for 34th at the John Hayt Invitational… Posted his best finish of the season at the SunTrust Gator Invitational where he tied teammate Bank Vongvanij for seventh place after carding a four-over 214 (72-70-72)… Tied for 16th with a six-over 222 (78-69-75) at the Isleworth Invitational… Made his collegiate debut at the Gary Koch Invitational where he carded a four-under 68 in his first round for the Orange and Blue… Went on to card a one-under 215 (68-71-76) and tie for 24th place.
Amateur Competition: Second team AJGA All-American… Ranked third in the Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings. Had four top-10 finishes in the 2008 junior season, including a runner-up finish at the 2008 Ringgold Telephone Company Junior Classic and a fourth-place finish at the 2008 Footjoy Invitational… Selected to the 2008 Canon Cup team.
Prep: A four-year letterman at Circle Christian… Two-time state individual state champion who led Circle Christian to the 1-A state title in both years… Posted six top-two finishes in his senior year… Named the 1A Florida Dairy Farmers Player of the Year after claiming his first state title as a junior with a two-under par 142.
