AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1998-99 - 10-4 in singles and 5-3 in doubles play...Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll...8-0 when winning first set...2-2 in dual play...4-1 in singles at home...Clinched Gator win over Furman with first career dual win against Jete O'Keeffe in straight sets at number six...Rallied from one set down to beat Mississippi State's David Ruiz (6-7 (4), 7-5, 6-4)...8-2 in the fall, including a 3-0 mark at the Florida Challenge...Reached the semifinals of Flight 2 at the Southern Collegiates...Fell in the quarterfinals of the B-1 flight at the USC Fall Classic.

SUMMER OF 1998 - Represented Florida on the Junior Davis Cup Team...Also played on the USTA Satellite Circuit and Futures Circuit.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 1997-98 - 8-4 in singles and 5-3 in doubles play...7-0 when winning the first set...Posted an 5-2 singles mark in the fall...Teamed with Marcos Asse for a 4-1 doubles record...Was 3-1 at the Fighting Illini Classic in February...Made first dual appearance of his career against Georgia, but fell in straight sets to Sheriff Zaher at number six singles.

SUMMER OF 1997 - Made the quarterfinals of the 1997 International Grass Courts in first-ever appearance on that surface...Advanced to the fourth round of Boys' 18s singles at the 1997 USTA National Championship in Kalamazoo.

PREP - A 1997 graduate of Pensacola School of Liberal Arts...Finished second at the 1997 Florida State Closed Tournament... Ranked seventh in the state of Florida 18s and in the Top 30 nationally...Finished second in the state tournament his sophomore year while playing for Gulf Breeze High School.
