2013: Competed in two meets outdoors in 2013, finishing second in the men’s 10,000 in 29:26.03 … Earned a runner-up finish in the men’s 3,000 meters at the Tom Jones Memorial Classic, crossing the line in 8:15.92 … Placed 11th with a personal-best time of 14:18.48 in the men’s 5000m and 10th in the men’s 3000m with a personal-best time of 8:11.95 at the SEC Indoor Championship… Came in fifth with a personal-best time of 8:13.71 in the men’s 3000m at the Razorback Invitational...Competed in the men’s 5000m and recorded a time of 14:21.61 at the Husky Classic.
2012: Competed in four meets outdoors in 2012, winning the 3,000 meters at the Tom Jones Invitational and capturing the 10,000 meters at the FSU Relays … Narrowly missed out on scoring in the 10,000 at the SEC Outdoor Championships with his time of 30:40.13, turning in a ninth-place finish.
HIGH SCHOOL/PREP: Clocked personal-best times of 4:17.94 (1,600m), 9:14.06 (3,200m) and 15:19.10 (5,000m) … Third at the FHSAA Class 4A State Championships in the 3,200m in a time of 9:16.47, being named a conference, district and regional champion in that event.
