- Qualified for the 2017 NCAA Championships as a relay member, finishing 21st in the 800 free relay (7:06.85)
- Swam at the 2017 SEC Championships, winning the 200 free B-final (1:46.36) and finishing 40th in the 500 free (4:52.17), 41st in the 100 free (50.92) and eighth in the 800 free relay (7:06.87)
- Totaled six individual and six relay (one in LCM) wins on the season
- Part of Florida’s top 800 free relay (7:06.85 at the NCAA Championships)

- Qualified and competed across four events, picking up two All-America honors and eight points off a pair of Top-16 finishes

NCAA Championships:
- Earned two All-American honors as a member of a pair of relay squads
- Maughan was a contributor on UF’s seventh-place 400 free (3:14.27) and 10th-place 800 free (7:04.48)
- Individually, Maughan clocked times of 1:45.84 and 4:54.50 in the 200 free and 500 free prelims
- Won the women’s 200-yard freestyle SEC Championship in a career-best time of 1:44.68
- Was a member of the Gators runner-up 400 FR (3:14.12), third-place 800 FR (7:00.25) and seventh-place 400 MR
- Clocked personal-best times in the 100 free (49.58) and 500 free (4:47.79) at the Gators Last Chance Meet
- Won the 200 free (1:46.82) and was a member of the first-place 200 MR (1:39.33) and 400 FR (3:19.14) in Florida’s dual meet against Tennessee
- Made her UF debut in the Gators dual meet at Florida State and placed fourth in both the 50 free (23.95) and 100 free (52.16)
