2011: One of three Gators to earn an at-large bid to the 2012 NCAA Championship meet...Crossed second for UF at NCAAs in Terre Haute, Ind., 117th overall, with a mark of 21:11.1 to clock the fifth-fastest mark ever for a Gator at NCAAs… Ran in all but one meet for Florida her first year in Gainesville… Was one of UF’s top three scorers in all six races in 2011, including a first-place finish at UF’s season-opening Western Carolina Invitational… Placed ninth at the NCAA South Region Championship (20:46.9) and 10th (20:52.20) at the 2011 SEC Championship in Maryville, Tenn., to score third for the Gators… Ran the sixth-fastest South Region 6K in UF history… Scored second for UF at both the Mountain Dew Invite and Wisconsin adidas Invitational, clocking the second-fastest mark for a Gator at UF’s Mark Bostick Golf Course… An All-SEC Second Team selection and USTFCCCA All-South Region honoree her first season as a Gator.
Prior to Florida: 2011 transfer from El Paso Community College in Texas, where she was the 2010 NJCAA national women’s half marathon champion, clocking a time of 1:20.05.6 and earning first-team All-America honors … Claimed the 2010 NJCAA National Championship in cross country, taking home the crown with a winning time of 17:16 in the 5K event and helping her team to a sixth-place finish at the national meet … Placed third at the 2009 NJCAA Cross Country Championships in a time of 17:47.
