AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2006-07): Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Competed as an individual at the Auburn Derby, and after a first round rain out, recorded a score of 81-79--160… Competed individually in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Classic, her first action of the season, and scored a 247 (86-79-82).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2005-06): Redshirted and did not see any tournament action.
AS A FRESHMAN (2004-05): Tied for the fourth-best stroke average on the squad (76.4)… Tallied one top-10 finish and three top-25 efforts throughout the season… Shot one even-par round and one round under-par during the regular season… Finished in a tie for 85th at the NCAA Championships (75-77-82-73--307)… Fired a 232 (78-76-78) and finished in a 67th-place tie at the NCAA East Regional Championships… Carded a 232 (77-76-79) and tied for 26th-place while competing as an individual at the Lady Gator Invitational… Posted a 227 (75-73-79) and tied for 21st place at the Northrop Grumman Regional Tournament… Recorded her second even-par 72 of the season in the second round of the Mason Rudolph Tournament, en route to a 222 (77-72-73) 54-hole score and tie for 20th-place… Opened her career with a bang at the Topy Cup, where she carded a 220 which included a career-low 18-hole 70 in the third round, for a seventh-place individual finish.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA: Ranked 31st in the National Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings… Recorded six top-10 finishes in AJGA events, including a second-place finish at the 2002 AJGA Club Corp. Junior… Has played golf for eight years.
PERSONAL: Born Sung-Eun Kim on Feb. 10, 1985… Daughter of Yong-Mo Kim and Jung-hee Yoon both of whom still reside in Korea… Has two older sisters, Young Eun and Young Ah, who attended a university in Korea… Young Ah currently works in the United States… She has now been in the U.S. for five years… Majoring in economics.
