Stephanie Horvath joined the Gators staff after being hired as the Director of Sports Nutrition prior to the 2019 season. She serves as the team dietician for baseball and lacrosse.

Horvath arrives from Tennessee where she served as the Director of Sports Nutrition from 2016 through 2019. Prior to that, Horvath was the Director of Sports Nutrition at the University of Illinois from 2015 to 2016. Horvath also has experience working as a Sports Nutrition Associate (2013-15) at Notre Dame and as a Sports Nutrition Grad Assistant at Virginia Tech (2011-13).

A native of South Bend, Ind., Horvath was a student-athlete for Indiana University rowing from 2005-09 where she received her bachelor’s degree. She received master’s degrees from Kent State and Virginia Tech.

Horvath is credentialed as a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is a member of the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association.

She enjoys spending time with her three nieces and her Pitbull named Diamond.
