AS A SENIOR (1991) - First gymnast in NCAA history to earn a perfect 10.0 mark in floor exercise competition with her winning mark in the Auburn dual meet…second in the NCAA Championships’ floor exercise final (9.875) to earn the third All-America honor of her career…claimed top honors in five floor competitions as a senior…runner-up in the Southeastern Conference Championships floor exercise competition (9.90)…earned career-best scores for the all-around (38.30) and balance beam (9.55) at Louisiana State…second overall in the LSU dual all-around competition…claimed top honors in the first two vault competitions of the season with career-best marks of 9.80…placed among the top three vaulters four times in 1991…earned season-best uneven bars score (9.55) at the SEC Championships.
AS A JUNIOR (1990) – Claimed All-America honors for her fourth place finish in the NCAA Championships floor exercise final (9.825)…posted a mark of 9.775 in NCAA team competition to qualify for floor final…NCAA Southeast Region floor exercise champion with a then career and Gator All-Time best mark of 9.90…claimed six floor crowns during the course of the 1990 season…Burger King Challenge all-around winner with season-best tally of 38.15…used career-best uneven bars mark to claim top honors at the Arizona State/Louisiana State triangular…competed as an all-arounder in every meet but one in 1990.
AS A SOPHOMORE (1989) – Earned All-America honors for placing in a tie for seventh in the NCAA Championships uneven bars final (9.70)…posted a mark of 9.70 in NCAA team competition to qualify for the bars final…tied with teammate Melissa Miller for the SEC floor exercise crown at 9.75…turned in a 9.40 or above in for every uneven bars performance of the season…scored 9.70 for the bars to finish second at the Arizona State/Oregon State meet.
AS A FRESHMAN (1988) – Qualified for the NCAA Championships floor exercise final with a score of 9.50…finished 10
th overall in the floor at NCAAs with a 9.40…took third in the floor exercise at the Ohio State/New Hampshire meet with a season-best 9.55…third in the uneven bars at the William & Mary dual meet (9.50)…scored a season-high 9.55 to take third in the bars at the Maryland/Michigan State meet.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA – 1985 and ’86 New York high school all-around champion…also took top honors in bars, beam, floor and vault her final two years as a prep…took runner-up honors in all-around at 1982 New York state championship and fourth in bars, beam and floor…member of Schnaars Gymnastics Club and coached by Dick and Marilyn Schnaars…high school coach was Laura Orticelli.
