Three Gators on NSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

Florida leads nation in both NSCAA All-American & NSCAA Scholar All-Americans in 2015
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida led the nation's NCAA Division I programs with three appearing on 2015 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Scholar All-America teams. The same three Gators – Claire Falknor, Savannah Jordan and Christen Westphal – were named NSCAA All-Americans earlier this month.
The trio is among the 11 players appearing on both the NSCAA All-America and NSCAA Scholar All-America teams in 2015. Florida's three led the nation on both lists. Jordan also earned 2015 College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) Soccer Academic All-American honors and is one of eight to appear on both academic teams this season.
This is the first season multiple Gators appear on the NSCAA Scholar All-America team. Since 1998, 14 Gators have earned 17 NSCAA Scholar All-America honors. In addition, Florida was recognized as a NSCAA Women's Team Academic Award program after posting a 3.39 grade point average for the 2014-15 academic year.

A student-athlete must be a junior or above with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average, start more than 50 percent of all matches and be a significant contributor to the team to be nominated for NSCAA Scholar All-America honors.
