GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University Athletic Association and Aquafina are proud to announce that the design for the University of Florida football student section t-shirts has been revealed.

Former linebacker and current UF professor James Bates designed the 2017 UF student section t-shirts to commemorate the 25th anniversary of The Swamp and features The Head Ball Coach himself, Steve Spurrier. Bates currently resides in Gainesville, FL and is a local artist known best for his unique style and Florida inspired pieces.

These t-shirts are available only to 2017 Florida Football Student Season Ticket Holders and students can pick up their shirt during ticket pickup for the Northern Colorado home opener. A valid UF ID card is required for pick up.

Student Tickets
  • Student tickets are currently on sale at FloridaGators.com/students. In addition, the Gator Ticket Office is currently open for any students that still need to purchase 2017 season tickets.
    • If students prefer to speak with someone directly, you can call the Gator Ticket Office at (352) 375-4683 or visit the Ticket Office on the west side of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
    • Details can also be found at FloridaGators.com/tickets.
    • The cost of student season tickets remains the same at $140 per ticket, which includes tickets to seven home games in the fall, and must be paid for at the time of purchase. Students must be enrolled in six credit hours to be eligible to purchase.
  • Students can also secure their seats for UF's three away games (Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina). In addition, Florida-Georgia tickets will go on sale that same day.
  • On August 21, single guest tickets go on sale.
 
Rally in The Swamp
The University of Florida Alumni Association and the University Athletic Association are teaming up to host the fourth annual "Rally in the Swamp," presented Alert Today Florida, a student pep rally to be held Sunday, Aug. 20th to kick off the 2017 school year.
 
The event will start at 7 p.m. and admission is free.
 
Student gates on the East side of Ben Hill Griffin Football Stadium will open at 6:00 p.m. Prior to the event, students can play games to win prizes and get free pizza courtesy of Domino's. Opportunities for campus involvement will also be showcased.
 
President Kent Fuchs, athletics director Scott Stricklin and head coach Jim McElwain will be on hand to welcome students back for the 2017-18 year. The event will also feature the Florida marching band, cheerleaders, Dazzlers, mascots and nearly 400 Florida student-athletes. Students will learn some of the great traditions that make Saturdays in the Swamp so special to the Gator Nation.

Student Tailgate
The Rowdy Town Football Student Tailgate provides an exclusive student tailgate before football games at The Swamp. Join us in Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center on September 9 to watch UF's volleyball team take on Michigan State prior to the football's home opener against Northern Colorado.
 
Be sure to have your UF student ID for admission.
 
Student Mr. Two Bits
One lucky student will have a chance to be the Gators' honorary Mr. Two Bits in front of the crowd at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium when Florida hosts Vanderbilt on Saturday, September 30.
 
To enter, students must create a convincing and spirited video about why you should get this opportunity, and share on Twitter using the hashtag #StudentTwoBits. Entries will be accepted until Monday, September 11 and a celebrity panel including Scott Stricklin, Coach Mac, Coach White and Albert will select the winner.
 
Aquafina Student Tunnel
All student season ticket holders for 2017 Florida Football have been automatically included for a chance to participate in a pre-game on-field team entrance tunnel. Fifty students with season tickets will be chosen at random for this opportunity prior to the game against Northern Colorado on September 9. Chosen students will be contacted on Monday, August 28 via email.
