Men's Swimming and Diving Fourth at DMN Classic

The 10th-ranked Florida men's swimming and diving team finished fourth out of six teams on the last day of the Dallas Morning News Classic at SMU on Saturday. The Gators scored 265 points, while SEC foe Tennessee finished in first place with 344 points.
Senior Greg Reeves (Tallahassee, Fla./Leon) led the Gators, winning the 200-yard butterfly final with a time of 1:47.62. Freshman Carlos Jayme (Goinas, Brazil/Annapolis) came in second in the 100-yard freestyle final, touching the wall in 44.90. Junior diver Hank Richardson (Houston, Tex./Memorial) came in second in the three-meter platform with a score of 334.35. Richardson's score meets the NCAA Qualifying Standards for the NCAA Diving Zones.
The Gators will return to the pool on January 26, when they take on Indian River Community College and Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton, Fla. The next day, the team will take on Miami in Coral Gables, Fla.
