Women's Golf Finishes 18th At TRW Reg. Challenge

The University of Florida women's golf team finished 18th after the final round of the TRW Regional Challenge hosted by Ohio State University at the Palos Verdes Golf Club on Wednesday. Florida finished with a three-round score of 974 (327-326-321).
The Lady Gators were led by sophomore Brittany Straza (Fort Myers, Fla./Lehigh), who tied for 58th with a tournament total of 237 (80-76-81). Fellow sophomore Jeanne Cho (Boulogne, France/St. Stephen's Episcopal School) tied for 64th, shooting a three-day total of 238 (78-80-80). Sophomore Sam Zausner White (Rockville, Md./The Bullis School) tied for 85th with a three-round total of 252 (90-84-78). Freshman Amanda Dick (Clearwater, Fla./Countryside) and junior Kim Best (Avon Park, Fla./Daytona Beach Community College) both tied for 87th with a tournament total of 253.
The Lady Gators will be back in action Feb. 23-25 when they host the SunTrust Lady Gator Invitational at the University of Florida Golf Course.
