U.S. Diving Zones
Diver Qualifies for Nationals in Three Events

Three divers from the University of Florida men's and women's diving teams competed at the Geographic Zone Diving Championships in Zone B in Orlando, Fla., April 6-8.
Sophomore Sarah Close (Clearwater, Fla./ Dunedin H.S.) was the only diver to compete for Florida the final day. She ended UF's showing at the event with a third place finish on the platform to qualify for the U.S. National Indoor Diving Championships. She previously qualified on the one and three-meter springboard. She will be making her first trip to the Indoor Diving Championships.
Close will be joined by fellow diver, freshman Nicole Bot (Orlando, Fla./ Dr. Philllips H.S.) at the U.S. National Indoor Diving Championships in Midland, Texas at the Mabee Memorial Aquatic Center. Bolt qualified in the one and three-meter springboard events.
