SECURITY MEASURES FOR FUTURE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA FOOTBALL GAMES
Prohibited Items
Food/drink containers, bottles, cans, thermoses, ice bags, ice chests, any artificial noise making device, large cameras, flags(American flags only are allowed), umbrellas, back packs, carry bags, video cameras/cases or any items deemed hazardous by game management personnel will NOT BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE STADIUM. Law enforcement officials will have the right to inspect any item at any time.
An increased number of law enforcement officials will be present on game day. A heightened sense of awareness at stadium entry points and areas around the stadium will be evident.
Bomb search exercises will be increased and will include not only game day, but also those days preceding the game.
Entry into the stadium will take longer due to tightened security measures at each gate. Fans are urged to arrive early. Gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Gate 17 will now be used as a service gate only. Fans using this gate in the past must use alternate gates for entry.
Ben Hill Griffin Stadium will be secured beginning Thursday night prior to every home game. Access will be restricted to authorized personnel only from this time until the end of the game and all vehicular traffic will be prohibited.

Diaper Bags with Child
Raincoats
Fans can go to any Gator Sports Shop souvenir stand in the football stadium and get a complimentary bag to store any items carried into the stadium.
Any security questions on whether an item can be brought into the stadium can be directed to Gate Supervisors at Gates 2 and 14 on gameday.
