Tyke Tolbert Named Assistant Football Coach

Tolbert started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at LSU in l994, and his coaching background includes stints at Ohio University, Louisiana-Monroe, Auburn and Louisiana -Lafayette. He has coached wide receivers or tight ends at each school. He also took part in the NFL Minority Internship Program, working in the summer with the wide receivers of the Detroit Lions (l997) and Arizona Cardinals (2001).
He played football at LSU as a wide receiver from l986-1990, and was a member of SEC championship teams in l986 and l988.
