Student Basketball Entry Changed, Upgraded

UF students can now enjoy the excitement of Gator men's basketball and not worry about standing in a line for hours in hopes of getting a seat. Thanks to a new system designed to create fairer access and safety for the 2003-04 season, students reserve seats for any home basketball game without waiting in line.
The entry system has changed, but basketball remains free for all UF students who carry at least 1 credit hour. To attend a game, all students must do is complete the following simple steps to watch the Gators play.
On Oct. 20-26, those students who attended eight or more home basketball games last season get special “Rowdy Reptile” privileges and can pre-register for seats online for all games through January 10, 2004. Guaranteed. If you are one of these students, simply log onto my.ufl.edu or www.Gatorzone.com and sign up for the games you wish to attend this semester. Once you sign up, you are guaranteed a seat to the games for which you've registered. (If you miss a game for which you have registered, however, you cannot attend the next 3 home games.) The pre- registration process for games after January 10, 2004, will be held in early January.
If you aren't one of these students, make sure you attend eight or more games this 2003-04 season and earn future Rowdy Reptile Registration rights. Membership has its privileges. Be a frequent fan and you're rewarded!
Starting Oct. 27, all other students may register for the first few home games of the season by following the steps below.
1. You will be able to register for a few games at a time and not the entire semester.
2. Register online at my.ufl.edu or www.Gatorzone.com by clicking on “Student Basketball Tickets” and selecting the games you wish to attend. You must be one of the first 2,500 students to reserve your spot online for the select game(s) you wish to attend.
3. Once you have selected the games you wish to attend and clicked “save,” your reservations will be automatically confirmed on screen and your seats are officially reserved.
4. If you do not attend a game for which you have registered, your account will be “flagged” and you will not be able to attend any of the next three (3) home basketball games.
