Sherry In Men’s Tennis Action at National Indoor

University of Florida men's tennis sophomore Ryan Sherry was in action on Thursday as he and six other Gators will try to qualify for the National Indoor Championships. The qualifying rounds began today in Memphis, Tenn. and will go through Sunday
Sherry started off the day with a win over Florida A&M's Frank Green (6-4; 6-1) before going on to drop his next match 6-3; 3-6; 6-1 against Central Florida's Antonio Sierra in the Round of 16.
Tomorrow, UF's Chris Brandi, Jordan Dolberg, Trey Johnson, Vladimir Obradovic, Ryan Sherry, Martin Stiegwardt and Stefan Tell will take to the courts.
Florida's two All-Americans, Janne Holmia and Hamid Mirzadeh will try for at-large bids into the championships, which will be Nov. 6 through Nov. 9 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
