All-American Qualifying
UF’s Obradovic Advances At ITA All-America

Florida junior Vlad Obradovic moved forward on Tuesday at the 2003 ITA All-America Championships with his win over 63rd-ranked Fabrizio Sestini of TCU (6-1, 6-0).
With the win, Obradovic will square off against Tigran Martirosyan of Kentucky on Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET in the Round of 32.
Obradovic was also in action in the doubles bracket today where he and teammate Trey Johnson dropped an 8-6 decision to UC Irvine's 40th ranked Jon Endrikat and Brian Morton. Martin Stiegwardt also represented the Gators on Tuesday as he dropped his round of 32 match against Michigan's 78th-ranked Michael Rubin, (6-2, 6-3).
The qualifying rounds will run through Wednesday before the main draw goes from Thursday until Sunday. Florida will be the only team represented in the main draw by two players who are ranked in the top eight in the country. UF sophomore Janne Holmia came in at fifth in the ITA preseason poll, while teammate Hamid Mirzadeh checked in at No. 8.
