Ratliff, Troupe Garner All-America Honors

Senior defensive back Keiwan Ratliff has been named to the Football Writers Association of America All-America Team and senior tight end Ben Troupe has been named to the Southern Football Weekly All-America Team.
Ratliff leads the Southeastern Conference and the team with nine interceptions, ranking 2nd nationally and establishing Florida's single-season interception record. He has recorded at least one interception in each of the last five games. Along with the nine interceptions, he has 47 tackles on the season, six pass breakups a fumble recovery a forced fumble and a blocked kick. He is one of two Gators to play in a maximum number of games over his career (47), including 26 starts.
Troupe leads the team with 35 catches for a team-best 517 yards. He is ranked second on the team with 11 offensive "Big Plays" this season, catching at least one 20+ yard pass in six separate games including the last four straight. He ranks second in UF history with 106 receiving yards in a game by a tight end, finishing with five catches vs. the Vols.
The Florida Citrus Sports Foundation will be hosting the FWAA All-America Team Celebration on Friday, December 12, 2003 in the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando, Florida. The FWAA All-America team is the second oldest continuously published team in college football.
