T&F Continues to Compete at FSU Relays

Competition continued Friday at the DSU Relays in Tallahassee, Fla., as several members of the Florida men's track and field team opened their outdoor season.
In the shot put gold competition, Jeff Rubenstein finished seventh with a mark of 15.92m/52-02.75, while Jet Theriac finished right behind him in eighth place with a mark of 15.34m/50-04.00.
In the pole vault garnet competition, Colin Whyte was Florida's top finisher, placing fifth after clearing a personal-best bar of 4.40m/14-05.25. Dan Shaffer finished tied for seventh, also clearing 4.40m/14-05.25.
Competition at the FSU Relays concludes Saturday.
