Football Ranked No. 11 In Preseason USA TODAY Coaches' Poll

The University of Florida football team was rated 11th in the preseason USA TODAY Top 25 Coaches' Poll released on Friday. The rankings are determined by 62 Division I coaches representing the American Football Coaches Association. Under the direction of first-year head coach Urban Meyer, the Gators will kick off their regular season on Saturday, Sept. 3, when Wyoming visits the Swamp at 6 p.m.
The Florida football squad's first week of practices, which will be held Monday, Aug. 8, through Monday, Aug. 15, will be open to the public. The Gators will hold preseason camp on the Village South Fields at the Southwest Recreational Center on the UF campus.
