ESPN Full Circle Presentation Of Gators-Auburn Saturday

The second-ranked Gator football team's game against No. 11 Auburn on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. from Jordan-Hare Stadium will be the latest installment of an ESPN Full Circle presentation, in which various ESPN outlets carry the event live using different coverage approaches, in addition to extensive content surrounding the game across additional ESPN outlets such as TV, Internet, cell phones, etc. ESPN Full Circle Delivered By The New AT&T: #2 Florida vs. #11 Auburn will mark the fourth example of ESPN Full Circle, and the second for college football (Florida State-Miami on Sept. 4).
The various Florida-Auburn Full Circle highlights follow:
ESPN: A high-definition traditional game telecast will be presented with ESPN's Saturday night team of Mike Patrick, Todd Blackledge and reporter Holly Rowe calling the action. During the telecast, ESPN's presentation will include “look ins” to other network's coverage.
ESPN2: The network will present a high-definition, alternate commentary telecast hosted by ESPN Radio's Colin Cowherd and include appearances throughout the game by ESPN's top college football commentators such as Lee Corso, Chris Fowler, Lou Holtz, Mark May, Draft expert Mel Kiper, plus former Auburn and Florida players live from the field, as well as special guests from around the country. The telecast will feature the traditional game coverage surrounded by four other angles in smaller screens in a mosaic-style presentation that will isolate the head coaches, the quarterbacks as well as provide the full-time view from Skycam. An enhanced graphic presentation will be available for those viewing the game in high definition featuring a full-time integrated drive chart and team stats.
ESPNU: The 24-hour college sports network will simulcast the traditional commentary from Patrick, Blackledge and Rowe and will also feature the mosaic-style presentation with traditional game coverage on the main screen surrounded by five smaller screens, including isolation angles of the head coaches, the quarterbacks, and other storyline-driven views plus the full time view from Skycam.
ESPN360: In addition to offering a simulcast of ESPN's coverage, the customized broadband network will also present a special Florida-Auburn “channel” featuring a condensed version of the game, press conferences, analysis, highlights and much more.
ESPN International: The traditional game telecast will be offered in Canada as well as on the American Forces Network, which is seen by men and women in uniform stationed around the world in 175 countries and aboard U.S. Navy ships at sea.
Mobile ESPN: Live full game coverage streamed live on the phone, plus in-game alerts and highlights, as well as preview video clips and interviews.
College GameDay Built By the Home Depot: The definitive college football pre-game show (10 a.m.) will originate from Auburn, with host Chris Fowler, analysts Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso, plus Desmond Howard.
ESPNEWS: The nation's only 24-hour sports news network will offer in-game highlights and opinions from ESPN's college football commentators, pre- and post-game analysis, live press conferences and more.
ESPN Radio: Radio coverage will include in-game updates, commentary form Colin Cowherd, on-site reports and more.
ESPN.com: Internet content will be highlighted by in-game fan polls and chats, reporting from ESPN.com's Ivan Maisel, a page dedicated to Full Circle, ESPN Motion video highlights and features and more.
Additional studio programming: Several other programs will also present Florida-Auburn content, including ESPN2's Cold Pizza and Quite Frankly, plus ESPN's SportsCenter, Pardon The Interruption, 1st and 10, Jim Rome is Burning and more.
ESPN Full Circle To Date
The Full Circle concept was designed to utilize ESPN's collection of multi-media platforms to provide fans everywhere with wide-ranging coverage of a major event. Full Circle debuted March 4 for the North Carolina at Duke men's college basketball game. The game was seen by an average of 3.78 million households on ESPN and ESPN2, making it the most-viewed men's college basketball game ever combining the networks. There were also two million page views on ESPN.com and one million video streams across ESPN.com and ESPN360.
The second installment, ESPN Full Circle: NBA Playoffs featuring Chicago at Miami April 22, was seen by an average of 2,648,000 households on ESPN and ESPN2, marking a 45% increase when compared to the equivalent NBA playoff telecast the previous year. In addition, ESPN.com's ESPN Motion received nearly 600,000 video streams for Bulls/Heat content.
Florida State-Miami averaged 6,330,000 households (a 6.9 rating) on ESPN alone, making it the network's most-viewed college football game – regular-season and bowl games – ever. Combined with ESPN2 (with multiple cameras in a mosaic style) an average of 7,007,000 households tuned in. On ESPN Motion and ESPN360, fans viewed video related to the opening-weekend contest nearly 1.3 million times, including ESPN Motion video clips and ESPN360's live simulcast of ESPNU's coverage. Additionally, ESPN.com Full Circle content generated more than 4.2 million page views, and nearly 5,000 questions were submitted for the live online chat.
