Florida Men's Tennis Ends Run At ITA All-American

The University of Florida men's tennis team ended its run at the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships in Tulsa Saturday as junior Nestor Briceno was edged in the quarterfinal round of the consolation draw.
Briceno was one of two Gators participating in the event where he picked up a pair of victories before dropping a 6-3, 7-6 (2) decision to No. 67 Christian Groh of San Diego State.
On Friday, classmate Greg Ouellette (No. 26) was edged in his main draw round of 16 match against No. 6 Somdev Devvarman (Virginia) at the All-American 7-6(4), 4-6 6-3.
The rest of the squad played in the Bollettieri Invite in Bradenton, Fla. on Saturday. A recap and results from the event will be posted on www.GatorZone.com as they become available.
