Ouellette Advances In Consolation Singles Draw at ITA Indoor National Championships

Florida men's tennis junior Greg Ouellette returned to his winning ways as he defeated No. 16 Clement Reix of Clemson, 7-5, 6-3, in the consolation singles draw Round of 16 Friday afternoon at the ITA Indoor National Championship in Columbus, Ohio.
With the victory, Ouellette moved into the quarterfinals of the consolation draw where he meets the winner of the match between Jared Drucker (Columbia) and Zach Ganger (Utah).
On Thursday, Ouellette began the event by being edged by Notre Dame's Stephen Bass (No. 21) in the first round of the main draw (7-6 (1), 3-6, 7-5).
The ITA National Indoor Championship is the second of three national tournaments for singles and doubles during the 2006-07 collegiate tennis season.
