Ouellette Ends Run At ITA Indoor National Championships

Florida men's tennis junior Greg Ouellette ended his run at the ITA Indoor National Championship as he was defeated by Zach Ganger of Utah, 6-4, 6-0, in the consolation singles draw quarterfinals Saturday afternoon.
On Thursday, Ouellette began the event by being edged by Notre Dame's Stephen Bass (No. 21) in the first round of the main draw (7-6 (1), 3-6, 7-5). Ouellette followed that by defeating No. 16 Clement Reix in the consolation Round of 16 on Friday, 7-5, 6-3.
The ITA National Indoor Championship is the second of three national tournaments for singles and doubles during the 2006-07 collegiate tennis season.
Five other members of the Florida men's tennis team are in action at the Seminole Invitational this weekend in Tallahassee, Fla. A recap and scores will be posted on www.GatorZone.com as they become available at the conclusion of the event.
