Men's Golf Gets Rained Out In Round One At Carpet Capital Collegiate

The University of Florida men's golf team had play suspended at the Carpet Capital Collegiate in Dalton, Ga., due to inclement weather on Friday. Play was stopped noon and will resume Saturday morning at 8 a.m.
Junior Toby Ragland (Jacksonville, Fla.) was the first Gator to tee off, lasting only until his seventh hole while Manuel Villegas (Medillin, Colombia), the final Florida player to get started, never got past his fifth tee box.
