Carlos Cueto Wins Singles Draw At Seminole Invitational

University of Florida men's tennis freshman Carlos Cueto (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain) claimed the singles championship at the Seminole Invitational in Tallahassee, Fla., Monday with a 6-4, 6-4 win over teammate Tyler Hochwalt (Scottsdale, Ariz.)
Cueto picked up five victories at the event to move his UF record to 9-1. Hochwalt turned in an impressive performance as well by picking up four victories over the first two days to improve to 11-4 this fall.
Overall, UF players have combined for 11 singles victories and the Gators advanced two teams to the quarterfinals of the doubles draw.
