No. 5 Women's Golf Entertains 15 Teams for Gainesville Shootout

Several teams from the Big 10 Conference will come to Gainesville including Illinois, Iowa and Michigan. UF and Illinois met at the Wildcat Fall Invitational in Lexington.
For Tucker, it will be the fifth stroke-play tournament she has played in her senior year. She competed as an individual at the UCF Challenge in Sorrento and tied the school record in her second round at the Lady Gator Invitational in February with a 3-under par 67 on her way to tying for 23rd.
Schachner also competed as an individual at the Lady Gator Invitational, tying for 38th with Kim, and saw action at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Classic. She gained valuable experience at the NorthShore Shootout in the fall.
Kim competed as an individual at the Lady Gator Invitational and also tied for 38th. She was competing in her first tournament since the 2006 Auburn Derby, rehabbing from a leg injury she suffered in a car accident.
